You are cordially invited to attend Hope for Community Development’s Fundraising Dinner Event for the official launch of the Liberian Living and Learning Facility project for the visually impaired people in Liberia, one of the world's developing countries that fought 14 years of civil war and it's still struggling economically.
The power to change over 10,000 lives and build strong communities for the visually impaired people in Liberia is in our hands.
The first fundraising dinner will be held on Saturday September 2, 2023, at 65 Hanson Avenue, Kitchener, Ontario from 6:00pm until 12am. Tickets cost $50 per person.
Join us to raise up to $2.7million to implement the Liberian Visually Impaired Living and Learning Facility project.
About The Liberian Visually Impaired Living and Learning Facility Project.
The Liberian Visually Impaired Living and Learning Facility is a collaborative project led by Hope for Community Development in partnership with of the Christian Association of the Blind, and the Deaf and Blind Association in Nimba United community District number 1 Montserrado county, Liberia. The multipurpose international standard facility will be built in multiple phases in Liberia and will include a School, Clinic, Worship Centre, Playground, and Shelter.
Hope for Community Development is currently working with partners and stakeholders to fundraise and launch this incredible initiative of building better communities for the most vulnerable population in Liberia. Despite the limited financial resources, Hope for Community Development is proud to have now assisted over 6,000 visually impaired youths and families with basic needs. We believe the last thing a visually impaired person should be worried about is food and shelter.
