Winter Survival Kits Distribution

There have been several extreme cold weather warnings this year due to freezing cold temperatures. Our most vulnerable population, the homeless, are subject to the cold, harsh weather that the change in the winter season brings. It is difficult to imagine what the homeless living on the street feels like on these cold days.

To make a difference between life and death, Hope for Community Development distributed winter survival kits and sleeping bags to the homeless at Ray of Hope and on community, streets to save them from freezing to death.

Essential items like hats, gloves, scarves and sleeping bags are crucial to the survival of those living on the street.

Hope for Community Development mobilized volunteers that reached out to vulnerable homeless individuals at Ray of Hope and on streets to assist them endure the extreme cold winter weather this year.

Hope for Community Development committed to delegate time every year to distribute vital winter survival kits to homeless and vulnerable individuals as they survive the cold winter.
